Do you enjoy helping people find their way to give back? Are you looking to gain experience in nonprofit development and fundraising? NAMI San Fernando Valley/San Fernando Valley is looking for a highly organized and reliable Membership Assistant with strong administrative skills to help us grow and engage our membership base to further our mission.

The Membership Assistant will:

  • Promote member engagement by preparing thank you cards for new and renewing members
  • Assist with mailing out materials for membership renewals
  • Assist the Membership Coordinator with other membership-related activities to help grow the NAMI-SFV community!
NOTE: While this role is almost completely remote, you will need to be able to pick up materials from our office (thank you cards, envelopes, etc) in person. For this reason, the person who fills this position will need to be located close to the San Fernando Valley/Santa Clarita Valley.

ABOUT US: The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is the nation's largest volunteer-led grassroots organization helping individuals affected by mental illness. At NAMI San Fernando Valley/Santa Clarita Valley, we are proud to offer free support groups, educational programs, and outreach presentations to individuals and families affected by mental illness. We tirelessly fight the stigmatization of mental illness through our advocacy and outreach efforts to spread awareness in the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valley communities.
