ReStore volunteers contribute to the success of ReStore by greeting, assisting and answering customer questions about products and materials and communicating the Habitat for Humanity of Kansas City mission. Tasks can range from assembling furniture, testing appliances, cleaning and organizing the store, maintaining signage, processing blinds or paint, landscaping and assisting the ReStore staff. All proceeds from ReStore directly help Habitat KC build strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter in the Kansas City community and around the world. Thanks to you, Habitat KC can empower families to thrive in the Kansas City community for generations to come in safe, decent, affordable homes.

The greatest need at the moment is in our ReStores located in Martin City and the East Bottoms area of Kansas City, Missouri. For more information, to register or self-schedule your self please go to our website ( https://habitatkc.org/restorevolunteer/ ).

If needed, all five ReStore KC locations are just a block or two away from public transportation. Check out https://ridekc.org/ to plan your trip.
