Mission Statement

Our primary goal is to build affordable, energy efficient houses on inner-city sites for sale at "no profit/no interest" to selected low-income families who could not otherwise acquire decent shelter. A second objective is the reclamation of blighted urban residential areas from a condition of decay to one of new vitality.

Habitat for Humanity Kansas City is a wonderful place to volunteer. I was an office volunteer and the entire staff there was amazing! Everyone is very friendly and appreciative of your effort to assist them with their mission. They offer a variety of volunteer opportunities to really help people in our community. If you are looking to volunteer in the office, on a commitee, doing hands on work, working with people from the community,or anything else, you can find it all at Habitat for Humanity Kansas City.
