THE ROLE

The Content Marketing Manager for Compathos/Films for the Planet will be responsible
for formulating, implementing and measuring multiplatform content strategies. This is a
voluntary position.
We are looking for a content marketer who is passionate about aligning creative
storytelling with data-driven strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 Collaborate with the Compathos Foundation leadership team to craft a content
marketing strategy that differentiates our platform, engages and inspires our
communities and motivates our prospective donors
 Work closely with the Founder and Board Members to position Compathos
Foundation/Films for the Planet as a thought leader in the environment and social
impact spaces
 Produce content for all current digital platforms/channels (website, social media, e-
newsletter). Work with relevant internal/external subject matter expert (s) as needed
 Create and manage a content calendar that supports an always on approach
 Develop and manage SEO best practices
 Track and report on content performances across all channels. Use performance to
optimize content strategies
 Identify and recommend new channels to engage with our target audiences
 Create content in multiple formats (from video to written to podcasts) for all digital platforms
 Oversee social media/content interns as needed

EXPERIENCE

 3+ years’ experience in building communities and audiences through full-funnel
content marketing, as well as content distribution and promotion
 Has hands-on experience in creating content in multiple formats (from video to
written to podcasts and everything in between) for existing and emerging digital
platforms

 Data-driven and are able to institute reporting on content marketing performance,
and use performance metrics to optimize strategies
 Proficient in Word Press, Microsoft Office Suite, Google’s G-Suite and Mailchimp (or
other similar email software) as well as other web publishing tools
 Hands on experience with Google Analytics as well as other social media and web
analytics tools is a must
 Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus
 Experience with audio and/or video editing is preferred
