The Salvation Army is in need of a Front Desk Assistant to help us at our Midtown Veteran's Residence. The Salvation Army Veterans Residence provides housing for Veterans. The property consists of 48 units. Of these units, 24 apartments are for transitional housing and requires daily sign-in monitoring and 24 apartments are permanent housing. All visitors are required to sign-in at the front desk. Visitor polices have changed in light of COVID-19. Proper Personal Protective Equipment will be supplied.

Duties:

• Provide front desk support to residents and visitors by ensuring compliance with Veterans Residence community policies and procedures, and that house rules are being followed by residents, their guests, and visitors to the building.
• Responsible for greeting visitors and maintain visitor sign in/out book, reservation book for meeting rooms, and computer center. Ensure that all visitors sign-in and check for proper I.D and complete the necessary checks prior to visitor admittance.
• Answer phones and take messages.
• Sign out keys, carts and computer equipment.
• Perform light clerical duties such as typing, filing, operating office equipment, answering telephones and all other duties as assigned.
