Founder/Executive Director

Machiah's House is a new non-profit organization in its beginning stages seeking a Social Media Marketing & Branding Coordinator to assist with Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts for our organization in reaching out to different platforms making our non-profit visible in our community. We are in need of a safe transitional home to open up and start serving the much needed population by June 1st 2023.

We desire creative, skilled and reliable volunteers that are passionate about the agency's mission...assisting young women who have aged out from Foster Care system and in need of transitional housing program that provides the life skills and community resources they need as they enter into adulthood.

Our goal is to spread the word about Machiah's House and obtain & maintain the traffic for business needed so we'll be widely known and sought after in the community and expansion to provide more homes in the Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas.

The program will focus primarily on "at risk" young women between the ages of 18 to 21 who have aged-out from foster care system. This age group is particularly problematic and a perfect time for mentoring to be effective.

The goal of Machiah's House is to identify young female adults who are going to have a turbulent transition to adulthood and derail their lives and to provide young adults with a stable, secure and nurturing transitional group home because we believe that the very best environment for a young adult to grow up in is within a supported unit.

Our agency will ensure... Honesty, Integrity and Ethical in all interactions, A right for all young adults to be safe and respected as they realize their fullest potential for their lives, A nurturing environment that emphasizes personal responsibility, positive communication, effective decision-making and appropriate expression of one's awareness.

We thank you in advance for your desire to volunteer as a Social Media Marketing & Branding Coordinator in meeting this need for the organization and making an impact on a young woman's life!
