MomsBloom believes that every family with a newborn baby deserves to have support, community and confidence. Our in-home volunteers ensure this belief becomes a reality for over 200 families each year.
You can make a difference by spending a few flexible hours each week helping a mother and her baby.

Our volunteers provide non-judgmental support to families with a newborn baby by doing hands-on tasks in the home and providing companionship to the parent(s).
You will spend just 2-4 hours once per week with a family for a 12 week commitment in the family’s home. Days and times per week are flexible with your schedule.

Description
MomsBloom connects community volunteers with families of newborns to provide hands on and emotional support in the family's home. The support may include light housework, caring for baby so the parent(s) has time for self care, caring for siblings, meal preparations, adult companionship, etc.
We accept referrals from families that are expecting and up to three months of age. At this time, we provide services to families within the greater Grand Rapids area. At times, we are able to provide support for families of older babies (up to 12 months) and for families outside of the Grand Rapids area if volunteers are available.
