Providing In-home Postpartum Support Make a difference by spending a few flexible hours each week helping a family and their baby in the comfort of their home. Our mission is to connect families with newborns to passionate community members who provide quality, hands-on postpartum support.

Description

MomsBloom connects community volunteers with families of newborns to provide hands on and emotional support in the family's home. The support may include light housework, caring for baby so the parent(s) has time for self care, caring for siblings, meal preparations, adult companionship, etc.

We accept referrals from families that are expecting and up to three months of age. At this time, we provide services to families within the greater Grand Rapids area. At times, we are able to provide support for families of older babies (up to 12 months) and for families outside of the Grand Rapids area if volunteers are available.
