Communities across the country count on the Red Cross for help every day-and volunteers are at the
heart of this support in local communities.
Disaster Action Team:
Help comfort and support people in your community
by meeting any immediate needs such as food, shelter,
clothing or supplies and connecting them to long term
recovery services. We supply all the training you need
Service to the Armed Forces:
Support vital services such as answering calls to assist
our military and their families, teaching workshops, and
helping in VA or military base hospitals. Virtual and in person opportunities are available.
Blood Transportation Specialist:
This position supports the Regional Biomedical Services
department. This opportunity requires participation
in in-person activities and/or performing work in a
Red Cross facility. To safely transport blood from
collection sites to the lab for processing and/or deliver
blood or blood products to hospital customers
Blood Donor Ambassador:
Use your customer service skills to ensure that blood
donors have a pleasant and fulfilling experience,
whether you’re greeting donors, answering questions
or thanking them for their donation, your courtesy and
professionalism will create a favorable impression
that encourages ongoing donor support.
