In order to volunteer for this opportunity, you MUST live in Central Minnesota.

Join our team and volunteer to staff the crisis line for the St. Cloud Crisis Nursery. You create your own schedule and work as many hours as you are available during the hours listed below. Calls will be forwarded to your cell phone.

Training and resources are available to make the volunteer experience comfortable and clear. A background check is required.

You can choose from available shifts between the hours of:

  • Monday - Thursday 5:00 pm - 8:00 am
  • Friday from 5:00 pm - Monday at 8:00 am

Description

LSS is the largest, statewide non-profit social service agency in Minnesota with over 2, 400 employees who serve in 300 communities. It is owned by the six Minnesota synods of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Services are divided into four divisions:

  • Older Adults
  • People with Disabilities

Volunteers are a growing part of LSS with more than 10,000 active volunteers working for the vision: LSS Volunteers change lives by encouraging hope and connecting communities, by energizing staff and enhancing services, by growing their own talents and sense of purpose.
