AmeriCorps Legacy Corps for Veterans and Military Families is looking for individuals to service as respite volunteers throughout your community. Our volunteers provide friendship to an older adult which allows the family caregiver a well-deserved break to run errands or rest. *** During these times of Covid-19, the need for respite, connection, and meaningful friendship is greater than ever. We are not providing in-home visits, rather through phone and virtual reassurance.
