Transportation for older adults to medical appointments and grocery shopping.
Help older adults maintain their independence. Many older adults do not have reliable transportation to critical medical appointments. Volunteers may use their own car or a county vehicle.
Volunteers provide rides to elderly people who cannot otherwise transport themselves to medical appointments, physical therapy and other critical medical appointments or grocery shopping. Volunteers provide door to door service while assisting seniors in and out of vehicles and negotiating stairs and ramps.
Other Information Requested of Volunteers: Background check, good driving record and current Utah drivers license and insurance required.
