Please note: All volunteers must be at least 18 years old. We are not currently accepting court-ordered volunteers.
We are seeking volunteers at this time to assist with the urgent need to sort food and distribute to people in our community who are in crisis. Our community needs you at this time and The Salvation Army is committed to advise and guide you properly to help minimize the spread of any illness. Together, we will continue to serve our community during this pandemic.
Complying with the county and in an effort to help slow the spread of COVID-19, we encourage all individuals who may be immunocompromised or in an at risk age category to not volunteer at this time. This includes those caring for individuals in these categories.
For those choosing to proceed with volunteer service, please take the precautions outlined to prevent the spread of this virus. Please regularly wash your hands, use hand sanitizer, avoid touching your face, and stay home if you are feeling ill or have been exposed to the virus. We are taking precautions to keep the work area as safe as possible, such as disinfecting surfaces, changing operations to limit contact, providing staff and volunteers with gloves and other precautionary measures.
