Sewers/Quilters Needed to make Dementia fidget blankets

Suncrest Hospice

  • 58 people are interested

Hospice patients with dementia symptoms really benefit from having a fidget blanket;
A fidget blanket is a lap-size quilt that provides sensory and tactile stimulation for the restless hands of someone with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia.
If you are interested there are many ideas out there on what could be on a fidget blanket. We could use 1 or 30 so if you have some time this would be a great way to brighten the day of a hospice patient who has dementia symptoms. Blankets can be mailed to the suncrest office or possibly picked up for delivery to one of our patients. Your time on this will provide such a blessing to a hospice patient.
