Below is he updated information about our re-scheduled Earth Day event. I am an eternal optimist and may have to update the date again but re-scheduling for May 30th.

Today is the official first day of Spring and we are planning our project to celebrate Earth Day!

Please join us on Saturday, May 30th. We will be building new garden bedframes and doing some general landscaping at a residence for individuals with an intellectual or developmental disability. No specialized skills needed, just a willingness to work and get dirty.

Here are the details:

Date: Saturday, ay 30th

Time: 10 AM - 3 PM (we’ll provide pizza)

Place: 813 Barbey Street, Brooklyn (closest subway is the #3 train to New Lots Ave station)

Please dress to play in the dirt, wear closed toe shoes, and bring a refillable water bottle. If interested (and feel free to share), please send Minjung Park an email ( mpark@sus.org) if you plan to help out.
