We are looking for a passionate Photographer to capture moments on film and to use images to tell a story about the current impact of the food crisis on Los Angeles County residents. FoodCycle LA volunteers recover food from various food retailers (grocery stores, farmers markets, and restaurants) and drop-off to food distribution centers. The photographer would work with volunteers a 1-2 times a week to get action shots of volunteers picking up/dropping off food donations. Another important aspect of our message is the environmental impact of food waste. The photographer will need to also incorporate environmental photography. The social media manager will coordinate food recovery shots according to your schedule. Environmental photography can be individually coordinated. We also welcome creative use of photos with graphic designs.

Description
FoodCycle is seeking passionate and dedicated volunteers to help further our mission in fighting hunger and ending food waste. We need volunteers on an ongoing basis to recover food from various restaurants, grocery stores, and food markets around Los Angeles. In addition to Food Recovery Drivers, we are looking for assistance building up our social media presence across all platforms.
