Volunteer opportunity description

NYSoM (New York State of Mind) is a multiservice community organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families living in the communities we serve. We aim to further our mission through

Community Events - we host a multitude of events, often educational or recreational in nature, throughout the year with the hopes of offering residents in our target communities a positive alternative to their normal surroundings.

Community Outreach Programs - we offer a number of programs directly to sectors of our target communities including senior citizens, children, young adults & the homeless.

We are now seeking a volunteer photographer. This individual will photograph our events to share with the public through social media. There are typically 10-15 events throughout the year.

Requirements

-Applicants must be able to work well independently and without a lot of direct oversight.

-Must have experience with photography and photo editing software (eg. Adobe Photoshop)

-Must be able to provide camera

- Must live in the NYC area

- Must be 18+ years old
