Trainer for A Matter of Balance: Managing Concerns About Falls
Spectrum Generations Healthy Living 4 ME program is in a need of a volunteer trainer for the A Matter of Balance class. This is an 8 week structured group intervention that emphasizes practical strategies to reduce the fear of falling and increasing activity levels with older adults.
Duties May Include:
This is an immediate need for the Harpswell area. Time frames are flexible after initial training, which is completely free and provided.
8 Hours of Training required, then volunteers will facilitate 2.5 hours classes with 8 classes per session. The minimum is one session a year, however, volunteers can facilitate more than one session a year.
