Get outside before the snow flies and volunteer! Fall raking is from October 23rd to November 10th!

Senior Community Services HOME Program is looking for volunteers to help seniors stay safely and independently in their homes by doing Fall Raking. It's a great way to enjoy the nice weather and help someone right in our community. Fall raking generally runs from October 23rd to November 10th. You choose the date and time (during daylight hours) that works for you.

Our volunteers help seniors stay safely in their homes by providing help with outdoor chores, like fall raking, that they are unable to do themselves.

This is a great way for families or others small groups who have been staying safe at home together to volunteer. Kids 7 and up are welcome to volunteer with an adult. We are asking all volunteers to help everyone stay safe by following social distancing guidelines, as recommended by the CDC.

We cover Minneapolis and most of suburban Hennepin County. Let us know where you would like to volunteer! We especially need volunteers in Minneapolis, Bloomington, and the Brooklyn Park area.
