To all you music-lovers in our community, we look forward to having you volunteer with us again soon! In this interim time, when we are not actively presenting concerts, we still look forward to interviewing and getting to know you! Please connect with our Volunteer Services Department and you will hear from us within 48 hours to schedule a remote interview. Can’t wait to hear from you!
Pacific Symphony is the premier Symphonic orchestra in Orange County. Through exceptional musical performances, educational opportunities and community programming, Pacific Symphony inspires, engages and serves the Orange County community and Southern CA region.
As a Heartstrings Ambassador, you will be the face of the Pacific Symphony as you greet and accompany guests at our Family Musical Morning concerts throughout the season. You will be tasked with greeting them off the bus, escort them through the concert hall, and answer any questions that they may have while at the concert hall. You will help shape the experience of many who attend the concert, sometimes, for the very first time!
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Background in working with non-profits and/or under-served communities preferred
- Enjoys working with children
- Available for the following concert from 8 AM to 1 PM, and ideally for the following year (4-5 concert dates, TBD)
- May 30, 2020 - John Williams: Maestro of the Movies
- Able to stand for extended periods and climb flights of stairs
