Ombudsman Friendly Visitor
WARREN COUNTY RSVP
Did you know nearly 60% of nursing home residents have no visitors, and need someone to help them voice their concerns? Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. If you want to help others make informed choices about where they live and the care they receive we welcome you as an Ombudsman volunteer.
These friendly visitors adopt a nearby nursing home or assisted living and visit with residents twice per month. They educate residents to know their rights, work with residents to resolve basic concerns, make observations of the facility. And enjoy visiting with the residents!
