These are the "Relationship Managers" of the committee. The Team Retention Committee will be responsible for retaining prior Walk teams. This committee will work year-round on team retention strategies including planning and executing the Walk Celebration Party and the Past Team registration events.

The people on this committee should be willing to connect with new people, they should love talking on the phone and should have a friendly and sincere attitude.

Mission Statement

The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research. Our mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.


The Alzheimer's Association Tennessee Chapter has offices in these cities; Nashville, Chattanooga, Knoxville, Kingsport and Memphis. We have a team of volunteers across the state leading the way in program delivery, fundraising and advocacy.

  • The Walk Planning Committee Orientation is Saturday, March 7th, 10 - noon at The Chef's Table in Cedar Bluff. Breakfast/Lunch will be served.
  • The Planning Committee meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 6-7 pm. The different sub-committees will meet at a seperate times/locations based on preferences.
