We're looking for an Advocacy Ambassador for Rep. Jamie Raskin's district (MD-8). You must be a registered voter of this district in Maryland to be the Ambassador. This position is for someone who wants to be involved in our advocacy. It's a year-long commitment that includes attending the amazing AIM Advocacy Forum in the spring with advocates from across the country, and conducting two district office meetings with the Congressman's office. We welcome advocates with personal or professional experience with Alzheimer's or dementia, to compel legislators to act in the fight against Alzheimer's.

Description

The National Capital Area Chapter is affiliated with the national Alzheimer's Association, headquarted in Chicago. We serve persons with Alzheimer's disease and related disorders, their families, caregivers,professionals and communities in Northern Virginia, suburban Maryland and Washington, DC through support, counseling information, referrals, education, advocacy and research.
