Classroom Assistants
Energetic and enthusiastic volunteers with a love for learning and children are needed for our after-school children's classes at the Carnegie Center. Be part of the early learning process by volunteering with our elementary and middle school reading and math groups! Volunteers will help the lead instructor with executing lesson plans and classroom management.
We offer a variety of free classes for kids and teens, we currently need assistants for: Upper Elementary Math (this listing) and also Middle School Math (Wednesdays) and Lower Elementary Math (Mondays)
Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older. If 18+, must pass a background check. All volunteers attend an orientation at the Carnegie Center.
