Support the families and clients living with a mental health diagnosis.
Local nonprofit agency needs your help in assisting those they serve. A variety of volunteer positions are available:
* Community Outreach- provide information to the public at community fairs and festivals; setting up at events.
* Hospital Network Volunteer- increase patients' awareness of the agency and the programming they offer. Present strategies used to maintain recovery.
* Office Volunteer- help organize and maintain supplies; data entry; managing electronic files- a variety of office related tasks
* Support Group facilitator- facilitate support groups for those with a mental health diagnosis or a family member.
* Peer to Peer/Family to Family Teacher- teach a class in a structured educational format for peer connection and support through group discussions.
Opportunities are available weekdays and weekends, weekly or less frequent commitment. Training provided. Volunteers should be a "in recovery" mental illness patient, family member or close friend to a loved one living with mental illness for several of the opportunities listed.
Mandatory background checks for all positions.
Make a lasting impact for those living with mental illness.

Description
We connect individuals and groups, aged 18 and over, to volunteer opportunities throughout Cuyahoga County. We offer ongoing volunteer opportunities at numerous partner organizations, as well as done-in-a-day projects.
