ORGANIZATION: American Red Cross - National Capital & Greater Chesapeake Region


Red Cross vehicles are essential for disaster response operations, branding, and other mission-related activities. The American Red Cross serving Delmarva Chapter is seeking a volunteer to assist with vehicle and fleet maintenance at the Wilmington office. Responsibilities include:

  • Track vehicle mileage
  • Schedule vehicles
  • Track vehicle maintenance
  • Track vehicle registrations, emissions
  • Take vehicles for maintenance/emissions
  • Work with maintenance shop for repairs
  • Inspect vehicles weekly/monthly
  • Manage vehicle keys
The schedule is flexible, and only requires 2-3 hours per week. Training on Red Cross policies provided.
