We are looking for compassionate, outgoing and friendly individuals who are comfortable visiting with patients in homes or assisted living facilities. Volunteer tasks may include but are not limited to:

Support for patients, respite and support for family members. This can range from reading out loud, to listening to stories, to taking walks. Volunteer presence may allow family members some alone time or a chance to take care of errands.

Bereavement support programs. Volunteers can work closely with the bereavement coordinator to assist with mailings, event organizing, following up with families, etc.

Volunteer hours are based on the availability of the volunteer. Volunteers are needed all over the D/FW Metroplex.
