We are looking for compassionate, outgoing and friendly individuals who are comfortable visiting with patients in homes or assisted living facilities. Volunteer tasks may include but are not limited to: Support for patients, respite and support for family members. This can range from reading out loud, talking with the patients and family members, taking walks with the patient, and or assisting the patients with various activities. Volunteer presence may allow family members some alone time or a chance to take care of errands. Volunteer hours are based on the availability of the volunteer. Volunteers are needed all over the D/FW Metroplex. Please join us in making a difference in peoples' lives. Thank you for your heart to serve the needs of others!
