    1. Purpose: To create fundraising strategies and spearhead research on grants.
    2. Responsibilities:
      1. Curating applications for donations, grants, and/or company sponsorship.
      2. Participate in monthly finance meetings with National.
      3. Participate in chapter workshop planning.
      4. Work with Marketing team to develop and implement fundraising campaigns.
      5. Able to deliver a sales pitch to market ChickTech within the OC community.
      6. Help recruit more volunteers.
    3. Expectations:
      1. Timely responses to partners and able to meet grant deadlines.
      2. Participate in Workshop Development and Support.
      3. Participate in local Networking Events hosted by ChickTech.
      4. Be cooperative with other chapter volunteers.
      5. Bring a positive attitude and be dedicated to the betterment of the chapter.
      6. Be inclusive and accepting of the diversity of volunteers and students at workshops.
      7. Does not fund raise for other organizations while in a leadership role at ChickTech.

Mission Statement

ChickTech is a multi-generational community of women and girls helping each other to become technology creators. ChickTech is dedicated to retaining women in the technology workforce and increasing the number of women and girls pursuing technology-based careers. We facilitate hands-on technology-centric events to empower, support, and increase the confidence of women and girls. Through our events, we build community, empower participants to see themselves as leaders, and provide networking and mentoring opportunities in the rapidly growing high tech industry.


As a mostly volunteer-run non-profit, we are always searching for partners who would like to get involved through donations of expertise, volunteer time, in-kind, funding, or just by helping to get the word out.
