- Purpose: To create fundraising strategies and spearhead research on grants.
- Responsibilities:
- Curating applications for donations, grants, and/or company sponsorship.
- Participate in monthly finance meetings with National.
- Participate in chapter workshop planning.
- Work with Marketing team to develop and implement fundraising campaigns.
- Able to deliver a sales pitch to market ChickTech within the OC community.
- Help recruit more volunteers.
- Expectations:
- Timely responses to partners and able to meet grant deadlines.
- Participate in Workshop Development and Support.
- Participate in local Networking Events hosted by ChickTech.
- Be cooperative with other chapter volunteers.
- Bring a positive attitude and be dedicated to the betterment of the chapter.
- Be inclusive and accepting of the diversity of volunteers and students at workshops.
- Does not fund raise for other organizations while in a leadership role at ChickTech.

ChickTech is dedicated to retaining women and non-binary people in the technology workforce and increasing the number of people of marginalized genders pursuing technology-based careers.
Description
ChickTech is a multi-generational community helping each other become technology creators. We facilitate hands-on technology-centric events and mentorship to empower, support, and increase the confidence of girls, women, and non-binary folks. Through our programs, we build community, empower participants to see themselves as leaders, and provide networking and mentoring opportunities in the rapidly growing tech industry.
As a mostly volunteer-run non-profit, we are always searching for partners who would like to get involved through donations of expertise, volunteer time, in-kind, funding, or just by helping to get the word out.
