We need help developing our product strategy for Akomi, our Shea butter retail line. We have over 7,000 women producing Shea Butter in Africa, and we want to bring these Fair Trade and Organic certified products directly from our women to Americans. We need a talented Product Marketer to drive the Ripples' Shea butter brand - Akomi this goal, including our email and social media advertising.
We need you to carry out a Social Media Marketing Review, create a Strategy for marketing Akomi, and lead on the branding and marketing of Akomi.
Our Mission: Creating prosperity and a secured future for women. Ripples Invests in the Economic and Social prosperity of the African village woman, with the goal of improving their quality of life and investing in their future. Our ultimate goal is to create prosperity for working African village women by giving them micro-finance and/or inputs and helping them set up their own sustainable businesses, save and invest in their own futures. Ripples currently supports over 13,000 women in three countries, you can help us support even more women.

Description
Ripples works in Ghana, Madagascar and Nigeria, and has worked funded and provided funding that has benefited over 6,000 since it's inception in the UK in 2005. We want to encourage American youth to develop international lenses and become immersed in a rich culture where they are part of the solution as well as create a hands on learning environment on creative ways to humanitarian efforts. We are in partnership with a several universities and successfully completed a trips with students from Europe and the United States. We want to raise funds and awareness for the program. We have several reports and videos from past students after their visits. We have several projects going on in Africa which served as an internship for the students.
