Each year the American Heart Association hosts one of the most premiere galas in our area; the Philadelphia Heart Ball. Over 700 attendees from the executive, medical, pharmaceutical and social communities come together to raise funds and awareness for the Heart Association's current initiatives; to provide healthy food access, trusted/reliable healthcare, healthy living education, and so much more, to our communities in need.
These grassroots initiatives create lasting, positive change for the health and well being of our neighbors, right here in our backyards.
Today we're seeking help, in the planning and execution of the Heart Ball. Please see below for a listing of pre-event responsibilities we're currently in need of assistance with:
Mailing - Packaging invitations, mission materials, etc., for all guests
Auction Solicitations - Use your skills to obtain items from near and far, for our silent auction
Event set-up - Friday February 21 @ the Simeone Foundation Auto Museum. Assist in setting up the gala, helping create a wonderful experience for our guests. From setting up bidder paddles, to placing materials at each seat, there are plenty of tasks needed to be completed prior to the event, happening Sat. Feb. 22.

Description
The American Heart Association is the nation’s oldest and largest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke. Founded by six cardiologists in 1924, our organization now includes more than 22.5 million volunteers and supporters. We fund innovative research, fight for stronger public health policies, and provide critical tools and information to save and improve lives. Our nationwide organization includes 156 local offices and more than 3,000 employees. We moved our national headquarters from New York to Dallas in 1975 to be more centrally located. The American Stroke Association was created as a division in 1997 to bring together the organization’s stroke-related activities
