Thank you for your interest in supporting the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women luncheon! This luncheon is a celebration of the efforts throughout the year to raise funds for the life-saving mission of the American Heart Association and the Go Red for Women campaign. We will need your help with registration the day of the event, ushering people to their tables, helping to set up before the event, breaking down after the event and misc. assignments as they arise throughout the day. Lunch will be provided. We will need you to be available the entire time from 8AM - 3PM. Dress is business casual, and a touch of red is required. Volunteer skills: Comfortable with lifting boxes, going up and down stairs, standing/sitting for long periods Customer service oriented - comfortable working in a fast paced, check in environment Attire: Business casual; a touch of red is required - can be a red tie or red scarf Location: The Crystal Tea Room in Philadelphia

Event: Hard Hats with Heart Home Run Derby Participants get to take swings from home plate, field balls, enjoy refreshments, and more! Hard Hats with Heart benefits the American Heart Association’s work to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives, specifically aimed towards the construction industry’s elevated risk. Shifts: 8:00am-11:00am 11:00am-2:00pm 2:00pm-4:30pm Volunteer Roles: We need people to help score, usher people on the field, assist the photographer, count swings, and more. Please note they will be outside most of the day.

We need help bagging items for toolkits for the Lower the Pressure Initiative sponsored by the Mother Cabrini Foundation. These toolkits are going to 70 sites across New York State for blood pressure screening and referral programs led by our Community Impact Directors in this market. Our yearly gala that celebrates our mission and recognizes our leaders and sponsors that are making a huge difference in our Philadelphian community. It is a night of grandeur that features a live and silent auction, a cocktail reception, a program, dinner, and dancing. Note: This is one of our more formal events, our dress code is more formal, and we expect our volunteers to engage with our guests in a professional manner. Volunteer Roles: Included but not limited to: Check in and Check out for attendants, seating assistants to guide any guests to table or field any questions, spotting and recording donations during our live auction and Open Your Heart donation appeals, and any additional responsibilities night of. Shifts: 3:30pm - 9:00pm 6:00pm - 11:00pm
