Large (6-10’ tall) trees will be ready for planting in their new homes across the neighborhoods of Creston-Kenilworth, Foster-Powell, Mt Scott-Arleta, Reed, and your help is what makes this community planting possible!

Please arrive by 8:45am to sign-in and enjoy a piece of fruit or coffee before we get started planting. The planting starts promptly at 9:00am. We provide gloves, tools, and guidance, so all you need to do is show up dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy shoes or boots - and be ready to have fun!

How do I register? All individuals and groups are kindly asked to RSVP to save your spot(s) by filling out our quick Registration Form (https://friendsoftrees.org/event-calendar/). Registration is highly recommended but not required.

Have a pickup truck? We need your help getting these young trees to their planting sites a few blocks away from the central staging site. Please sign up at www.friendsoftr ees.org/truck if you're able to help us out in this key role.

This event will have a bike crew! Want to join the team planting trees by bike? Sign up at www.friendsoftr ees.org/bike. Bikers with trailers and cargo bikes are awesome but anyone with a bike is welcome to take part!

Under age 18? A signed youth waiver(https://friendsoftrees.org/youthwaiver) is required for you to volunteer. We ask that youth 15 years and younger are accompanied by an adult.

Please contact Jenny, Pablo, and Carey at (503) 595-0213 // volunteer@friendsoftrees.org if you have questions or need any further information. We look forward to seeing you in SE Portland this February!
