To provide great care for people facing life-ending illness with absolute professionalism - and always - something more. That something more is beautifully demonstrated by the enthusiastic and creative efforts of our volunteers, as they make special moments happen for our patients and our families, again and again. What ever you "skill" - reading, sewing, listening, etc...you make each patient & families lives better by being there.

Life is richer and fuller when we spend some time helping others. At Good Shepherd Hospice we are looking for volunteers to donate a few hours a month performing acts of kindness for patients and their families. We know that some of the things our patients value most are thoughtful gifts of time, attention and your presence.

Can you bake a cake? Use a computer? Do office work? Sit quietly and listen? Read a book, write a note, or deliver supplies? These are just a few of the things that our volunteers do at Good Shepherd Hospice.

We provide free training and continuing support. To learn more, please email or call us at (316)616-2277. We welcome your help!!! We're looking for awesome people in the Derby, Mulvane, Winfield, Wellington, Mt Hope, Andale, Colwich areas....as well as Wichita.
