Nova Caeli is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Lewisville, TX. Our mission is to help victims rebuild, recover and rise after domestic violence.
We will offer:
- access to safe, temporary pet care for families transitioning to their new homes
- donations of clothing, furniture, household items, and pet food/supplies
- a holistic wellness program to include a whole-food pantry, trauma-informed yoga, guided meditation, and other healing practices.
- financial literacy counseling
We are currently looking for an experienced volunteer grant writer to assist in all areas of grant readiness, grant writing, and grant management.
* Write high-quality grant proposal narratives, applications, and supporting documents
* Research, collect data and write grant proposals
* Ensure timely submission of all required materials
* Develop and maintain a grant proposal calendar
* Coordinate and follow-up on the progress of submitted proposals
* Identify and solicit new grants
Experience is required. 6-month minimum commitment. This is a virtual volunteer opportunity offering a flexible schedule.

We recognize the challenges that come with escaping domestic abuse. Poverty, illness and trauma often make re-establishing and recovery difficult. Leaving beloved pets behind add an extra layer of grief. Our goals are to keep pets and their families together and help survivors get back to a place of normalcy, wellness and independence as soon as possible.
We will offer:
