Come help us keep our Learning Garden and Truck Farm looking fresh & fabulous for our school groups and community members! We appreciate your help pulling weeds, mulching, planting, harvesting, assisting with special projects, and sprucing up our grounds in other ways.

Description
Sharing its home with an 8-acre organic vegetable farm, the Food Literacy Project exists to reveal the power of discovering real food. Our comprehensive Field-to-Fork program consists of student farm-based education, youth development, afterschool programs, professional development, and community engagement to bring all people in the community closer to the origin of the food. We believe in a hands-on experiential approach to education, believing once youth become participants in their own food system, they are more likely to try new things and enjoy eating fresh fruits and vegetables.
