Help Bring Meals to Seniors
1 person is interested
Are you looking for a low-commitment, high impact volunteer opportunity? Consider delivering hot, nutritious meals to the doors of homebound seniors.
According to research conducted by Meals on Wheels America, seniors who receive home-delivered meals on a daily basis are more likely to experience improved mental health, decreased isolation and loneliness, and less worry about being able to remain at home.
Drivers needed in Chanhassen to pick up meals at the Chanhassen City Hall at 10:30am and volunteers will be assigned a route, usually 5 to 10 stops to deliver meals to older adults. Time commitment is to drive at least one route per month.
