At Catholic Charities, we are inspired by Christ’s call to serve and strive to empower the most vulnerable through quality, compassionate and effective human services.
Our In-Home Support Program provides supportive home care services to clients in Milwaukee and Waukesha County. These services are designed to help maintain and strengthen the client’s current living situation and enable them to remain active and involved in their community. Our goal is for individuals to be able to live independently in clean and safe homes. You can help us to achieve that goal!
By volunteering your time, you are able to provide personalized support to help maintain and strengthen a client’s life and enable him/her to remain active and involved in their community. You will be able to spend one-on-one time socializing with the client, and working directly with staff to assist in light housekeeping of the client’s home.
You will make a positive impact in their daily lives!

Description
Catholic Charities mission to "provide service to those in need, to advocate for justice and to call upon others to do the same" has been the core of our work since 1920. We measurably improve the lives of the poor in our communities and empower them to reach their full potential. When we accomplish this, lives are transformed and the benefits to the community can be exponential starting by improving the quality of life one person at a time.
With an outpouring of support from the community, we are able to help the poorest among us. We help people of all faiths, ages and cultures improve their ability to be self-sufficient, raise a family in more stable and healthy homes, escape violence, cope with emotional and behavioral challenges, and overcome barriers to a better life.Our Programs and Services:
