We are a county animal shelter. Our facility is a Save 90 location meaning we strive to save at least 90% of the adoptable animals that enter our doors. We do not euthanize for time or space at our shelter and are proud to serve the Pasco County citizens.
We are in need of volunteers to come care for our pets in the medical suite. Our Vet team takes pride in treating animals to the best of their ability, but volunteers going the extra mile. As a Medical Enrichment Aide, you will be assisting with the following duties:
- Snuggling our pets as they recover from surgery
- Cleaning & sterilizing kennels
- Disbursing enrichment items for pets in kennels such as puzzles and toys
- Reporting any concerns to the medical team on an animal's condition
- Other Duties As Assigned
