Share your healthcare knowledge and skills with seniors in the community! Nurses, nursing students, and other healthcare professionals and needed to volunteer at our weekly walk-in Wellness Centers. At our centers, seniors can receive health education and have their vital signs recorded. Both centers operate every Thursday - one from 9am to 11am, and one from 12pm to 2pm - but volunteers can help as their schedules allow. Even helping just once a month can make a big difference in the life of a senior!

About Us: East Side Elders helps our seniors live full and rewarding lives - in the home and community they want - for as long as possible and as healthy and well as possible. Our teams of volunteers, students and community members provide a wide range of services and activities that give the necessary support and resources to our elderly neighbors wherever they call home.

Qualifications:

• Able to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds in a caring, courteous manner
• Must pass a background check
• Must be 18 or older
• Must have experience taking vital signs
