Open Door's Baby Box provides mothers-in-need with a newborn starter kit that can be used as a safe sleep space for their new baby. Each box is filled with new diapers, baby clothes, toys and products and important information to ensure the child has a healthy and safe start in life.
We need help each month (up to 5 volunteers) assembling 10-20 Baby Boxes and filling them with baby essentials, at our Port Chester Open Door Health Center,
This activity takes place from 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM on the 3rd Monday of each month from January- November. Please note that we occasionally finish up earlier than 2:30 pm. Also, please note that our dates may occasionally need to be changed and we will advise volunteers as quickly as possible. We are currently recruiting for: 1/20, 2/17, 3/16, 4/20, 5/18, 6/22, 7/20, 8/17, 9/21, 10/19, 11/16
