User Interface Optimization Volunteer
Bay Area Older Adults
Bay Area Older Adults is a charitable 501(c)3 organization that improves the health and well-being of seniors in the Bay Area and serves more than 40,000 senior citizens each year. We just updated our user interface (UI) late last year and Google Console continues to have some UI complaints. Examples are: optimize/minimize file size for images on webpages, fix render-blocking resources and large layout shifts as well as a few other issues. Any other changes to the user interface that would optimize SEO would be helpful.
Bay Area Older Adults is managed by volunteers and this is a volunteer position. Work from home/remotely and with the Executive Director. We are looking for volunteers with prior hands-on user interface experience. The work is project-based and we would like a minimum commitment of 8 hours per week. We are interested in people over the age of 18 who are self-motivated, reliable, organized and have good time management and people skills who want to help the community. Please send us your resume.
