Best Friends in Houston works collaboratively with city shelters, local animal welfare organizations and passionate individuals to save the lives of pets in shelters in Houston and the surrounding areas.
We need YOUR help to guide this work and help Houston become a no-kill city for cats and dogs! In April 2018 Best Friends launched a Coalition to Save Houston’s Pets followed by a Community Cat Program, foster program, events for local adoption and an out of state transport program. Come to an orientation to find out more about these fantastic opportunities and see where you can help!
ORIENTATIONS are hosted every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month (locations vary throughout Houston, but will be on the calendar)! Email houstonvolunteer@bestfriends.org to RSVP or you can see the calendar when you create a volunteer account by clicking this link: https://volunteers.bestfriends.org/?nd=login
Can't wait to see you there!
