Fight hunger on the East Side! Team Hunger Volunteers deliver supplemental groceries to seniors in the community - you can make a huge difference in someone’s life by helping just once a month. This is a very flexible opportunity and we are happy to work with your schedule!
About Us: East Side Elders helps our seniors live full and rewarding lives - in the home and community they want - for as long as possible and as healthy and well as possible. Our teams of volunteers, students and community members provide a wide range of services and activities that give the necessary support and resources to our elderly neighbors wherever they call home.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 or older or accompanied by a parent or guardian
- Able to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds in a caring, courteous manner
- Must have access to transportation to deliver food
