Special Olympics in the Bozeman Area is searching for an Assistant Area Director!
Do you enjoy working with a team of dynamic volunteer leaders? Managing events? Creating new events? Then this position could be for you!
Primary Purpose: The Assistant Area Director comes alongside the Area Director in assisting with the administrative needs of the area management team and filling in for the AD as needed.
- Area Planning and Oversight: with input from fellow Area leaders, helps the Area Director create and administer the annual plan and budget.
- Meetings: Assists in scheduling the monthly meeting times and locations; develops meeting agendas and collaborates with the Area Director and SOMT Outreach Coordinator.
- Special Olympics Montana Liaison: Participates in monthly Area Director calls with fellow ADs around the state and SOMT staff.
COMPENSATION: Smiles, hugs, and lifelong friendships! This is a volunteer, non-paid position. Allowable expense reimbursements are available.
