ORGANIZATION: Green Star of Interior Alaska

Green Star's Outreach & Education Committee focuses on educating people in the Fairbanks North Star Borough about local recycling opportunities and strategies for reducing waste. The committee is composed of Green Star staff, board members, and community volunteers. We meet on the third Wednesday of each month from 1-2PM at our warehouse.

In 2020, some of our goals include improving and diversifying our education materials and engaging 1,000 people in presentations and educational programming. If you are interested in either of these projects, or have ideas for new projects, come to a Committee meeting to share your ideas!
