What is Rotary?
Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change - across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves. For more than 110 years, Rotary’s people of action have used their passion, energy, and intelligence to take action on sustainable projects.
Diablo View RotaryWhile we appreciate the international aspect of Rotary, our club’s members primarily services our local community. We organize outings within our community to clean the parks and other shared spaces, sort food at local food banks, volunteer at Lindsay Wildlife museum, and anything else that our members can do to make our community better. We build lifelong friendships based on the shared vision of community service.
Come to a MeetingWe are a "cocktail hour" club. We meet weekly on Tuesdays at 5:45 pm in downtown Walnut Creek, at Maria Maria. Our meetings are fun Happy Hours. Our meetings begins with some time to mingle and get some dinner, then we invite a speaker to come and talk to us. Speakers range from local charities informing us on how they help to serve the community, to veterans sharing their stories, and local business owners explaining what they do and how they started.
Interested in coming to a meeting? Please come and check us out. This is a great place to connect with local professionals, make friends with people that live in the area, and most important of all fill that gap in your Tuesday night schedule.
