Become a Client Facilitator and help AARP Volunteer Tax Preparers serve the community. Client Facilitators register clients and ensures each person has the proper ID, SS card, and last year's tax return (if applicable). In addition, the Client Facilitator completes an intake sheet and when there is an available tax preparer, they will assign the client to a preparer.
One client facilitator is needed at the Blaine Human Services Building each Friday beginning February 7th through April 10th. The hours are from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Mileage is reimbursed. This could be rotated if 2 people shared the responsibility and served every other week.
One client facilitator is needed at the Anoka County Historical Society each Saturday, beginning February 1st through April 11th. The hours are from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Mileage is reimbursed. This could be a shared volunteer opportunity if two people rotated serving every other week.
Training is provided in January.

Volunteers enroll by completing a skills and interests checklist and these are matched to community needs. From the matches, the volunteer selects a volunteer job that is meaningful and fits.
