During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of both COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Are you outgoing? Do you enjoy helping people? Do you like butterflies? We're looking for you! As a Visitor Services Volunteer, you will talk to guests at the entrance to the conservatory as you explain the rules that keep our butterflies safe; talk with guests inside the Conservatory about the thousands of butterflies we have; talk to guests about our exhibits; teach guests about the plants in the native butterfly garden; and help visitors check for hitchhiking butterflies as they leave our conservatory.
You will be standing, walking, and talking. During your shift you may be outside in the native butterfly garden (seasonal/weather permitting) or inside the tropical flight house. You will receive training on all aspects of this position.
