Join us for a Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service at our first big volunteer kick-off event of 2020!
Starting at 8:30, check in and light breakfast will be provided.
In addition to honoring Dr. King's work with a day of community service alongside other community partners, you as a Habitat volunteer will help make public parks in the Bayview more safe, accessible, and welcoming for all. Volunteer tasks can include weeding, pruning overgrowth, raking leaves, applying mulch, planting, and general park maintenance.

Although we are largely known for our new construction projects that make homeownership accessible to low-income families, we also work with existing homeowners to keep their homes by providing low-cost home repairs. Together with a caring community, generous donors, and dedicated staff, Habitat GSF works to help hard-working families build futures and the most vulnerable of our community age in place and preserve their legacy.
